3-D Danger Zone

This sleeper classic is another of my favorate shooters ever, which for it's time was revolutionary.

What really made this shooter for me special were two things, one is the fact that the graphics are not just well detailed but they have utilized 3-D depth in this game. When you go though the game in overhead mode it really has that feel like things are coming straght at you that it litterally made me move left and right in my seat, I don't see that much in shooters except for "Gyruss", the "Raystorm" series, and Tresure's criminally overlooked shooter "Incarta" which was probably the last great shooter, but these are another story. Even the usual vertical mode is pritty good the background really has a feel that your up really high or deep. I even like how the enviorments are stretched out in lenth more which makes you not limited so much to a certain amount of space like in most shooters.

But also it's stratagy element, which is the freedom to pick out not just a set of weapons but a certain weapon as the sittuation is constantly changing by the minute. But pick carefully and never get cocky or careless because when you get hit once (but aren't dead yet) you can become disabled of the weapon of choice which puts you at a bit of a disadvange god forbid this happens at the wrong place and time.

This game might be short, due to it's pace but it's a sweet ride but that doesn't mean it's chalange is all together that easy. Some of those ongoing sittuation come at you fast and feel a step ahead of you, you can't afford to take a breath for a minute. It's either you come prepared or get left behind.

If there is one bad thing about this game is it never had a sequel as it proposed it would have. It would be a great thought if one day the thought of this game hit Konami and they would make a modern day sequel (may'be even next big franchise for their company) to this game, I could see that could be possible but unlikely to happen, oh well.

Well that's all I have to say, shooter fans shouldn't miss out on this beloved classic it's a 3-D Danger Zone thats a lot of fun.
