Tried this cause I've been missing a main game. Quite a surprise, in the good way. I recommend to give it a try.
I decided to give this a try because i've been reading hints about other ppl enjoying this, around the web. And I've been missing a game to dig in. Since I've left WoW, and every other MMO i tried since then has failed to catch me.
First impression: I was totally confused. Things kept going boing and all sorts of stuff popped up from time to time. But the Combat seemed interesting enough to keep going. I then was more intrigued when i got some mercenaries with me. (You fight with a squad of max: 9 guys) Man i like this very much, not only the part that they all have different abilities. But i like most of all that there is alot of different merc's and the whole tactic part in battle.
Oh and not to mention i get to lvl and outfit so many guys, and they are all mine to customise as i please - This is the best part for me. :)
The game ain't much to look at. But the design imo is among the best I've tried in an mmo. It reminds me a whole lot of Final Fantasy. And I loved those games.
And seriously the best part about this is that it is completely free - no charge at all. The stuff you can buy in the game is as far as i can see not essential stuff at all. I'm soon lvl 50 and have not at one point felt like i was missing out on anything because i haven't spent money.
So my recommendation is - If you're missing a game to play - give this a try, it might be a pleasent surprise.
