This is the first of the astro boy seris on GBA. It starts of with a good story. Yourself (astro boy) trying to make out his past. You see in the intro that astro was a real boy until a freak explosion forcing him to become robot.
The chracter menu becomes more of a collecters album, rather than a scrap book, allowing you to see how far you've proggressed the more people you see the further you are. The controls are very easy to pick up and very handy. The upgrade system is very easy to handle without you stressing over dying if you don't put them on laser. Quite frankly the levels are quite challenging on easy and platform style levels. The boss battles aren't as much strategy as they are keep on tapping the R button to fire you're laser at him. The graphics are very effective to the style of game and work with the story.

All in all astro boy is one of the best games you can buy for your GBA and very under-rated.
