Variable DIfficulty, Aggrivating, Satisfying, Nice Graphics and Sound, Must Trade Frustration For Gratification

User Rating: 9.1 | Astro Boy: Tetsuwan Atom - Atom Heart no Himitsu GBA
I like this game. For me it's comparable to riding a bike. I know I'm going to fall down a lot but the payoff is tremendous sense of satisfaction. I died...a lot. I'm normally a calm person but my gameboy came as close as it has ever gotten to being pulverized by the very essence of my bloodied and enraged ego. This is a game that I can play for thirty minute intervals at most. On some of the harder levels I would literally die fifty times in twenty minutes in order to have enough time alive (as opposed to watching my little lifeless diapered body bouncing from wall to floor) to wrap my mind around what precise patterns I had to follow in order to win. Maybe I'm not as skilled or tough as the lesser difficulty ratings of these other reviews imply their writers are, I'm not sure. For me this game has it's place in my world of gaming. With my normal gaming being like water, this game is whiskey. As much as I want to defend my battered gaming skills, I'll admit that few and far between are the games that when after winning I'm powerless not to shout at my Gameboy, "Take that you filthy food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction!"
