This game is quasi unplayable on ps4 due to the framerate which rarely maintains a good enough level especially when it would be the most important and you need to focus on your next action... the controls of AC are complex enough and need reflexes. If it was smooth... the game would be a 9... right now it's a slideshow. Not a game. I give it a 2 for now... hopefully Ubi will work urgently on a patch.
Unity has a huge potential... Its back to the origins of what made AC great but with fixing fundamentally the core elements. Unfortunately the framerate breaks all your concentration and you end up playing like **** and making too many mistakes and getting frustrated
The game mechanics are full of great ideas but overall it's nowhere near as optimized as watch dogs. This is very very ugly ... right now I ended up playing on 720P to try and gain a little smoothness and try to enjoy it. I give it a bit more time ... but i'm getting more and more frustrated as i play.
Don't produce games that try to impress but cannot run on current hardware please... it's like we're back on ps3/360 it's much worse than black flag. I hoped crappy framerate was a thing of the past... it's back in force with Unity
please patch... i dont know remove 1000 npcs from the screen... it's not really necessary anyways
The framerate drops to 1 frame per second around Notre Dame... Never seen such a mess on xbox and xbox360 you've been warned ;)
