expansion pack of AC1 and AC:B
If your not into AC series, it better to start from AC2 or AC:B.
I wouldnt be bothered much about the plot, as i felt that after AC2, the plot just have gotten way too ridiculous especially Desmond timeline.
The game gameplay mechanics are still in play and intact as what it was before, parkour movement to brutal execution is still satisfying and with a bit more additional equipment to your disposal. (bombs, and hooks)
Combat still remain the same as to AC:B, counter attacks are still an easiest way to dispatch enemies.
Multiplayer which is available since AC:B is extended with even more game mode. Although i do say, it isnt really good MP experience.
Added tower defense mechanics, which is unnecessary but i do enjoy the change of gameplay.
verdict: For AC:R for $60 does justify with the amount of content, but an average value in terms of quality.
PS: i have felt lazy writing a full review as i felt that AC developers have gotten lazy in making this title.
