The Assassin's Creed series continues to unimpress me.
Gameplay:

Gameplay can be great but then it can be awful. Sometimes game mechanics work and sometimes they just break and don't do what they're supposed to do. This breaks the game. It's sad too, Assassin's Creed 2 takes away the repetitiveness that was in the original and creates a beautiful recreation of Renaissance Italy but is then stabbed in the gut with bad controls. That can be truly game breaking.
Graphics:

Beautiful backgrounds with lack luster looking character models. Faces are a smush of ugly textures that looks weird. The recreation of Italy looks quite stun with beautiful architecture and nice view distance.
