The original Assassin's Creed was an amazing game with a huge cliffhanger that kept you in the dark. Lucky with Assassin's Creed 2 that hole will be filled. Desmond wakes up and finds that Lucy the assistant of the company that kidnapped you is helping him escape and retreat to a hideout where they meet two other Assassin's who hook him up to a similar device to relive the events of another of Desmond's ancestor Ezio Auditore De Fineze. You relive the story of Ezio and get to really get involve in his background. Betrayal happens and sets the story up for revenge but upon his quest he uncovers many secrets and the ending to this game will leave you wanting more even when your jaw is still dropped.
A lot of the same game play has remained the same but looks a lot better and is a lot smoother. You can actually purchase stores and get discounts on weapons and armor. The are a lot of secrets to be found and a lot of them are challenging and rewarding. This is a game that takes everything that is great about the first game and makes it even better.
