Assassin's Creed Brotherhood would have been a fantastic game if it came before Assassin's Creed 2.

Assassin's Creed is a very good game but unfortunately it doesn't fully live up to the hype. This game has many advantages but in this review i am only going to state the disadvantages. This time the game is set in Rome and it seemed this was not a problem. Well it is...After seeing Florence and Venice in Ac2 Rome lloks rather bland. Basically even if Rome is LARGE it doesn;t have the grandeur of Florence. Rome is basically too ruined. All you see is bricks, whereas in ac2 every sight was fantastic and the architecture was great. Here everything is unimpressive to say the least with only the colloseum standing out. Techically this game is said too look better but frankly i like assaassin's creed 2 more with its tall towers and fantastic atmoshpere. Atmosphere is also a problem in this game. In AC2 you really were in the Renaiscance and the game was in a part so great becasue of the time period. Here there are guns, tanks e.tc which really don't feel like Renaiscnace. Because Rome is so large you need a horse to travel fast. That's another porblem. One of the biggest advantages of AC2 was that going around was fun and exciting. The free-running was great and the cities were designed for that. Here Rome is made so that you'll need to stop after a few seconds of running because your way will be blocked. Graphically there is a lot of pop in and tearing which make this game less appealing than AC2.Crazy but true.A lot of the missions are repetitive but there's stiil much fun to be had. Overally this game needed more time to be polished however it is stiil a fantastic game you should buy. The only problem is that it's a step back from AC2
