Very Underrated
The graphics of the game are really not all that spectacular, player likeness outside the 2 licensed teams are very dicey and could certainly use some work, the gameplay however, is very solid and is in a lot of ways (Bowling apart) similar to that of Brian Lara. The new bowling mechanics which use a meter for accuracy instead of speed is much more engaging that the ones used in previous cricket games.
The audio in the game is very ordinary, nothing to ride home about, (Warne and "Beefy" are pretty uninterested during tutorials) but nonetheless, it serves its purpose.
Perhaps the game could use more add ons/features such as more challenges, ohter licensed tournaments and so on, but the option to create a player, edit teams and actually play a solid game of cricket is good and delivers what is easily the most rewarding game of cricket out there. Hopefully they consider making a sequel (And dropping the ashes name and implementing a more universal title) and improve the few issues they have.
All in all, a solid 8/10 in terms of a game of cricket.
