The Xbox One launches in almost 30 new countries throughout September, including a number of European countries where it debuted last week. Unfortunately for those who picked up the console expecting a comparable experience to that of other regions, certain content and voice commands are reportedly nowhere to be found.

As reported by Dark Zero, among the content that is unavailable on the Xbox Store in Sweden is Super Time Force, Powerstar Golf, and Killer Instinct's Ultra Edition. Making matters worse is the fact that some of this content (including the Ultra Edition and Powerstar Golf) are advertised in places like Killer Instinct's Meld menu, only for it to be unavailable when you go to download it.

In addition to the missing content, Dark Zero states, "Voice commands are entirely absent from the Swedish Xbox One UI," something that Microsoft has confirmed with GameSpot.

"Fans in 18 of our new launch markets are able to turn on voice controls using existing voice models for English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese, depending on their market," a Microsoft spokesperson told us. "In Sweden specifically, fans can enjoy a fully localized experience on the dash, but do not have access to voice controls at launch.

"Enabling voice is a significant endeavor as there are many complexities associated with delivering a great voice experience in various languages around the world. We're working hard to add more features but have no additional details to share at this time."

In addition to launching the system, Microsoft is bringing its new Xbox One digital TV tuner to European markets first, so it's not as if the company has completely ignored that market. Still, considering this month's launch of the system comes almost a full year after the system first made its debut, European fans are understandably disappointed that they aren't getting the complete Xbox One experience.

If you're a new Xbox One owner in one of the markets where the system just launched, what has your experience been like so far? Let us know in the comments below.
