Xbox One Boss Phil Spencer to Attend Brazil Game Show
Other participating companies include PlayStation, EA, Activision, and Ubisoft.
Phil Spencer, who leads all gaming efforts inside Microsoft, will attend the 2015 Brazil Game Show. The show runs October 8-12 in Sao Paulo, and this marks Spencer's first-ever appearance at the event.
"Looking forward to joining Brazilian Xbox gamers and game devs at my first Brazil Game Show. Hope to see you all there," Spencer wrote on Twitter.
There is no indication yet regarding the nature of Spencer's involvement in this year's show. During last year's Brazil Game Show, Microsoft announced a special-edition white Halo Xbox One bundle.
Xbox is just one of the 2015 Brazil Game Show's participants. Others include PlayStation, Ubisoft, Activision, Warner Bros., Electronic Arts, Razer, Capcom, and YouTube, among others.
The Xbox One was outsold by the rival PS4 in August 2015, but system sales were up 26 percent compared to August 2014. Overall, Microsoft says the Xbox One is "gaining momentum" as it looks forward to the holiday, a period in which the company believes it has the strongest lineup in all of gaming.
