Warsaw based studio CD Projekt RED has produced a new trailer that flaunts the vast and beautiful expanses in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The video, published above, features key developers who talk through their ambitions in designing The Witcher 3's world. What is immediately striking is the level of visual variety between these fantastical locations, from the sun-kissed port towns to enormous stretches of land coloured purple under a fierce sunset.
These wonderfully detailed, fantastical locations are contained inside a single world, which Geralt of Rivia can traverse on horseback. Rainy fogs and the deep blacks of dusk also feature, further enhancing that sense of scale and diversity. Take a look in the video above, or peruse some screen grabs below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be published by Bandai Namco in Europe and by Warner Bros. across North America. The RPG is set to ship on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in February 2015.
