Arithmetic Studios, the San Francisco-based developer headed by Digital Anvil alum Robert Holm, has announced that W.A.T.E.R.: Blood Runs Deep, its sci-fi action game, will now be W.A.T.E.R. Online, an online massively multiplayer game. The change was made from single-player to massively multiplayer because the designers felt that interaction with other players would be the best and most realistic form of interaction.

W.A.T.E.R. is scheduled for release in 2004. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
