Watch Sony's New Live-Action PS4 Commercial -- "The King"

With the holiday shopping season set to begin soon, Sony has launched a new commercial for its PlayStation brand. Called "The King," the video appears to be part of a new marketing campaign.

"True greatness never settles. Introducing The King," Sony said on Twitter, setting up the video.

As you can see, the video contains references to numerous games and franchises, including Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, and others. It's pretty slick, which is no surprise given what we've seen before from Sony's marketing department.

The PS4 enters the holiday season having been outsold by the Xbox One in the US for four straight months. Sony's newest console, the PS4 Pro, launched on November 11.
