Right on schedule, a new trailer for Pixar's Cars 3 debuted tonight during the college football national playoff on ESPN. "It's not over until Lightning strikes," reads the video's description.

The trailer teases out more of the movie's plot and shows off some action sequences; take a look:

Last week, new Cars 3 characters Jackson Storm and Cruz Ramirez were revealed--you can read more about them here.

The first teaser for summer 2017's Cars 3 showed the character McQueen getting into a horrible wreck, somersaulting through the air, and crashing down back onto the track, pieces of the car flying every which way. "From this moment, everything will change," the video said.

The movie's official description reveals the first story details, suggesting the plot will be about McQueen's recovery after this horrible crash.

"Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves," reads a line from the description. "To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn't through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing's biggest stage!"

Directed by Brian Fee (Cars 2, Ratatouille), Cars 3 opens on June 16, 2017. Owen Wilson returns to voice McQueen.
