Watch First Justice League Movie Trailer, See Batman Recruit Flash
"Stop right there, I'm in."
The first trailer for the Justice League movie made its debut at the Warner Bros./DC Comic-Con panel, and now it's available for you to watch. It shows the formation of the League which, as you know if you watched Batman V Superman, is being headed up by Bruce Wayne.
Among the most notable scenes is a conversation between Bruce and Barry Allen, in which the former reveals he's putting together a team. The two have a quick standoff and, during it, Flash dodges a Batarang. After realising who he's speaking to, Flash signs up to join the team. From there we get some action sequences, which you can see for yourself in the embedded video above.
And here are some screenshots from the trailer in case you can't watch it:
As previously announced, the Justice League movie's villain will be the Steppenwolf. According to Affleck, the Justice League movie will be much lighter in tone than Batman V Superman.
"There's definitely room for more humor," he said previously. "DC movies I think, by their nature are a little more gothic, or mythic rather, than some comic book movies are. But [Dawn of Justice] was very dark and heavy because it was really rooted in Dark Knight Returns which is a heavy, dark book. And this is not that.
"[It] brings together all of these characters who have had their origins. It's about multilateralism, and it's about hope and about working together and the kind of conflicts of trying to work together with others. It's a world where superheroes exist, so there's comedy in that necessarily, trying to work with other people and people trying to accomplish goals together is the root of all great comedy in my view."
Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017, and also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, JK Simmons, Willem Dafoe and Amber Heard.
