"You've inquired about the presence of #WatchDogs on the new @Xbox One. The answer is affirmative," Ubisoft said over Twitter.

A launch date was not revealed, though other versions of the title will be released beginning in November.

Set in Chicago, Watch Dogs puts players in the shoes of Aiden Pearce, a hacker who uses his smartphone to break into the city's central operating system to control things like security cameras and also to obtain personal information.

Multiplayer in Watch Dogs will reportedly blend "seamlessly" with single-player.
