The original story follows below

Ubisoft has confirmed that its upcoming open-world action game Watch Dogs is coming to Microsoft's Xbox One.

"You've inquired about the presence of #WatchDogs on the new @Xbox One. The answer is affirmative," Ubisoft said over Twitter.

A launch date was not revealed, though other versions of the title will be released beginning in November.

Set in Chicago, Watch Dogs puts players in the shoes of Aiden Pearce, a hacker who uses his smartphone to break into the city's central operating system to control things like security cameras and also to obtain personal information.

Multiplayer in Watch Dogs will reportedly blend "seamlessly" with single-player.

I'm buying both of these games for the Xbox 360.

I'd rather interact with my controller than my forced-upon Kinect.

Why not just call it XBOX.

The name "Xbox One" makes me laugh each time I hear it. And this was a no-brainer really.

@Xethrayne I don't understand the ideology of people like you. Now, I do have a Kinect, and it has proven useful in many ways. I've also had fun using it playing games with my wife. It surely made playing Skyrim a hell of a lot better. However, how is having the extra technology that comes with the system, such bad news? If this adds extra layers into the games, such as how voice recognition has improved cumbersome events like changing plays in sports games, and equipping spells and such in RPG's, then how is its being there a bad thing? These actions suck with a controller, and they require you to have to pause the game to do it. Now, I don't have to pause either.

@Venom_Raptor you are so right, the name is totally lame, silly, whatever you want. What's the explanation for such a name? Where does One come from?

@o016945 @Xethrayne It's simple ideology, really. You either, prefer to, speak to your television or interact with the console by using your controller.

There is this thing called a personal preference.

@catajedimaster it's called One because it's an ALL IN ONE entertainment system that can be used for TV, movies, music, games, chat etc... all in ONE box.

To be honest, the Kinect has many future innovations that it could possibly bring. One key feature I'd like to see, is the ability to customize your own motion capturing. Kinect uses the same wireframe that is used in motion capturing (with Kinect 2 adding more connect points on the body). For instance, for those who are into basketball games, there are plenty who don't like the shooting animation of a particular player, with Kinect, there is the possibility to motion that animation and put it into the game. Even in create a player, you could motion your own animations to be part of the game.

With Kinect being a part of every system sold, you'll see developers try to innovate with it. I've been a gamer since the early 80's, so innovations is something that I have always loved about this medium. In the 90's, we dreamed of virtual reality, and such things I once thought were just a dream, are finally becoming reality. I thought the IllumiRoom concept was awesome, and it is bringing something new that could be a good thing.

@Xethrayne then mute the Kinect voice recognition. It has the option. You want to speak simple here.
