Wargame Red Dragon gets first teaser trailer
Eugen Systems shows off the first trailer for its upcoming real-time strategy game, Wargame Red Dragon.
Publisher Focus Interactive and french developer Eugen Systems have released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming real-time strategy game, Wargame Red Dragon.
Wargame Red Dragon is the latest entry in the Wargame real-time strategy series, following 2013's Wargame: AirLand Battle and 2012's Wargame: European Escalation. It's being developed by Eugen Systems, which is also responsible for other real-time strategy games like R.U.S.E. and Act of War.
Wargame Red Dragon takes the same gameplay from previous Wargame titles, but for the first time shifts the location of the conflict from Europe to central Asia. It will add five new nations, including China and North Korea, and 450 new units, including naval and amphibian units, which take advantage of new maritime and river areas.
The game will feature a new single campaign and a multiplayer mode that will allow up to 20 players to battle each other simultaneously.
Our reviews of Wargame: AirLand Battle and Wargame: European Escalation were very positive, finding both games to be a good mix of the wargame and real-time strategy genres, so Red Dragon is definitely worth keeping an eye on when it's release later this year.
