The main players in the PC weekly game charts retained their spots during the week of July 9-15, with World of Warcraft, Cars: Radiator Springs Adventure, and The Sims 2 again coming in first, second, and third place, respectively. This is the fourth straight week that Blizzard's massively multiplayer online role-playing game has claimed the top spot, with THQ's adaptation of the latest Pixar film right on its bumper.

While the top trio stood firm, there was more turnover in the chart's supporting characters. First-person shooters Half-Life 2: Episode Two and Star Wars: Battlefront II fell out of the top 10. They were replaced by another FPS--2K Games' Prey debuted at number five--and the virtual vet game Paws & Claws Pet Vet at number nine.

THQ's Titan Quest and NCsoft's Guild Wars factions both lost a little ground this week, with the mythological role-playing game sliding to the seventh spot and the subscription-free MMORPG clinging to the final spot in the top 10. The biggest gainer in the top 10 this week was 2K Games' role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which jumped from eight to four.
