Two games announced for Infogrames' Atari line

Splashdown and MXRider for the PS2 will be released under Infogrames' Atari line of products.

Infogrames has announced that it will release MXRider and Splashdown for the Sony PlayStation 2 under its newly reinvented Atari brand. Also in the company's holiday lineup for the PS2 console are games such as NASCAR Heat 2002, Test Drive Off-Road Wide Open, and LeMans 24 Hours. In addition to its PS2 games, the company will also release Backyard Soccer, Men in Black: The Series, Nicktoons Racing, and Looney Tunes Sheep Raider for the PlayStation.

"Our development teams have harnessed the power and capabilities of the PS2 to deliver games that will capture the imagination and excitement of the gaming audience.
