Twitch.tv and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive allow linking between clients

It is now possible to get in game item drops in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by watching Twitch.tv streams.

Following on the heels of the their Dota 2 collaboration earlier this year, Twitch.tv and Valve have partnered to bring in game item drops to fans watching Counter-Strike: Global Offensive streams.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players that link their steam and Twitch.tv accounts are now eligible for in game item drops Valve has dubbed Souvenir Packages. Valve's official Counter-Strike developer blog highlights a 2013 DreamHack SteelSeries Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship Souvenir Package available during the event later this month.

The 2013 DreamHack Steelseries Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship will take place at DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden from November 28th to December 1st. onGamers staff will be on site cover the event.
