Top 10 Movies at the US Box Office This Weekend
Doctor Strange ticket sales fall 49 percent but the movie remains No. 1.
Marvel's Doctor Strange ruled the weekend again, pulling in $43 million to stay the No. 1 movie at the US box office for a second weekend in a row.
For the November 11-13 weekend, Entertainment Weekly reports that the top five movies at the box office were Doctor Strange ($43 million), Trolls ($35 million), Arrival ($24 million), Almost Christmas ($15.6 million), and Hacksaw Ridge ($10.8 million).
Doctor Strange's $43 million second-weekend box office haul is just above projections, as estimates released earlier this week said it could make $40 million-$42 million for the November 11-13 window. The movie had an opening weekend haul of $85 million, meaning box office receipts fell 49 percent.
