Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X development on schedule
Activision gives an update on the development of a game from its flagship franchise for the Xbox and announces that it plans to show the game at E3.
Activision has revealed that the development of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X for the Microsoft Xbox is on schedule. The game will be shown at the upcoming E3 in Los Angeles. Work on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X began when Activision received its first Xbox development kits in the fall of last year.
"Activision is eagerly anticipating the upcoming launch of Xbox," Robert Kotick, co-chairman and CEO of Activision, said. "We received Xbox development kits in the fall and have a number of teams deep in development on several exciting titles for the platform, including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X. We anticipate a successful launch for Microsoft's new platform."
Activision also has several unannounced Xbox projects in development. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X is planned for release alongside the fall launch of the Xbox console.
