Titanfall beta coming February 14 - Report
A six-day Titanfall beta is said to be exclusive to those who preorder the game at specific retailers.
A Titanfall beta will take place starting February 14, a report on French site Xboxygen (via NeoGAF) has said.
The beta will run from February 14 through February 19, and access will be restricted to those who have preordered the game from participating retailers, said to be GameStop in the US and Micromania in France.
Some Xbox One owners were given a chance to play Titanfall earlier this month, with developer Respawn Entertainment dubbing the release an alpha. Titanfall was criticised by gamers at the start of the year when it was revealed that only 12 human players would feature in each game, although Respawn later said that matches could feature up to 48 combatants.
It is not indicated whether the beta will apply to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC: GameSpot has asked EA for confirmation.
Titanfall will be released on March 11.
