The game shares its title with the new Power Rangers television series, and it lets players travel through various environments in order to stop criminals from changing events in time. Further gameplay specifics regarding Power Rangers Time Force will be released at a later date.

"Saban has done an amazing job keeping the Power Rangers franchise at the top of the charts," said Germaine Gioia, vice president of licensing at THQ. "Power Rangers Time Force is an ideal brand for the interactive entertainment category, providing a great source of quality content for exciting gameplay."

Power Rangers Time Force will be released for the Game Boy Advance in the fall. Versions of the game are also planned for the Sony PlayStation and the Game Boy Color. THQ has already released several Power Rangers games, including ones for the PlayStation and the Nintendo 64. Power Rangers Time Force is the ninth game that THQ has confirmed for the Game Boy Advance. Others include CMX 2002, Jimmy Neutron, Scooby Doo, Wild Thornberrys, Sponge Bob, Rocket Power, and Tetris World.
