SPOILERS: One of the stars of Westworld Season 1 has said he'll have some role in Season 2. This post discusses who that actor is and more about Season 1, so be aware of that.

Following the news last week that HBO's sci-fi/western Westworld is getting a Season 2, one of stars of Season 1 has now confirmed he will have some kind of part to play in the upcoming season.

Man in Black actor Ed Harris said in an interview with BBC Radio 4, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, that he recently had a chat with Westworld's creators about Season 2. "I was just talking to [Jonathan Nolan] last night, who's a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they're doing another season," Harris said. "They’re going to do 10 more episodes, and I will be involved [emphasis added]."

Westworld is a mind-bender of a show. It's been rumored that the Man in Black may die at the end of Season 1, but even if he does, there is a chance his character could live on as a host or by other means. It'll be interesting to see how the Man in Black's story arc plays out, as he's been one of the most intriguing and mysterious characters on the show so far. There is also a theory that William and the Man in Black are the same person, but in different timelines.

Episode 8 airs tonight. Watch a spoiler-filled trailer for it above.

Westworld Season 2 has been confirmed, though it remains to be seen if it will come out in late 2017 or early 2018. Little is known about the plot, but Nolan has teased that we'll learn what powers Westworld's hosts during the second season.
