This Newly Discovered Secret Destiny Mission Yields an Exotic Sniper Rifle

Destiny's new Taken King expansion has now been out for an entire week, and now players have discovered a secret mission that yields a nice reward. There is a secret area in today's Daily Heroic Story, called "Lost to Light," and beating it rewards you with the Black Spindle, an exotic sniper rifle that may remind you of the Black Hammer gun from Destiny's Dark Below DLC last year.

As you'll see in the video below, acquiring the Black Spindle is no walk in the park. You must defeat fierce enemies, and you only have 10 minutes to do so. Watch the video below to see how it's done.

As explained by Kotaku, the secret area can be found near the third door of the escape route in the Lost to Light mission. Don't go through the door, but instead, go past it. There you'll find the Fallen ketch. Provided you've done things correctly, Ghost will start talking about a Fallen transmission, at which point you must kill all enemies in the room in 10 minutes. You probably want to bring a fireteam to do this.
