Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor sequel Shadow of War was officially announced today following a retailer leak over the weekend. That leak revealed a $100 Gold Edition will be available, but it turns out that is far from the most expensive version of the game.

As revealed by GameStop, where it will be sold exclusively (at least in the US), Warner Bros. plans to offer a Mithril Edition of Shadow of War. Priced at $300, it consists of the Gold Edition in addition to a 12-inch statue depicting a battle between a Tar-Goroth Balrog and a Carnan Drake.

Here's everything it comes with:

  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Gold Edition with Exclusive Steelcase
  • Premium Case with Magnetic Ring of Power
  • Exclusive Mithril War Chest
  • Official Game Music Soundtrack
  • Limited Edition 12" Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake Statue
  • Cloth Map of Mordor
  • Collection of Exclusive Lithographs
  • Tribe Sticker Pack
  • Collector's Box

The Gold Edition, which is also sold separately, comes with the base game and various DLC, including story expansions.

Like its predecessor, Shadow of War takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It's slated for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, although only console versions (PS4/Xbox One) of the Mithril Edition are listed on GameStop's website. Like the base game, it launches on August 22.
