Florence Pugh (The Falling) plays Paige, with Jack Lowden (Dunkirk) portraying her brother Zak. Johnson, Vaughn, and Game of Thrones star Lena Headey also have lead roles.

"The film follows the story of reformed gangster and former wrestler Ricky, his wife Julia, daughter Saraya and son Zak, who make a living performing in tiny venues across the country," Deadline reports. "Ricky and Julia want a better life for their children, and when brother and sister get the chance to audition for the WWE, it seems the family dream is coming true and all their troubles will be solved. However, Saraya and Zak are about to learn that becoming a WWE superstar demands more than they ever imagined possible as athletes and siblings."

Writing on Instagram, The Rock said Vaughn "loved the script and sank his teeth" into his role.

"Vince has been a buddy of mine for years and I'm fired up to see what he brings to this role," he said. "I grew up in and love this wild, crazy and unpredictable world of pro wrestling. Our little passion project is coming together nicely."

Production begins today, February 15, and more casting news will be revealed in the time ahead.

The Rock, who is Hollywood's highest-paid actor, is a busy man. In addition to Fighting With My Family, some of the movies he'll appear in this year include Jumanji, The Fate of the Furious, and Baywatch.
