TGS 2001 Fall: Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time Hands-On

Enix had a very early version of Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time for the PlayStation 2 at its booth. The game allowed players to simply roam around the field maps and towns, as no battle encounters were built into the game yet. The maps are in 3D, which can be freely rotated. A radar is also displayed at the bottom right of the screen. The character polygons are well modeled, though there is a lack of facial expressions on the characters at this point. Star Ocean 3 has no release date or pricing disclosed at this time.
