Test Drive: Off-Road 3 Preview

Infogrames will be delivering the third installment in the Test Drive Off-Road franchise to the Dreamcast. Set to launch in June of this year, Test Drive Off-Road 3 will be developed by the Los Angeles based Player One.

"The real-world locations and assortment of licensed off-road vehicles in Test Drive Off-Road 3 will reach a new level of realism and action on Sega Dreamcast," said Laddie Ervin, director of marketing for sports and racing at Infogrames North America. "The unbridled, muddy racing mayhem that Test Drive Off-Road 3 delivers will be a welcome addition to the growing number of titles available for the Sega Dreamcast."

Test Drive Off-Road 3 will offer gamers over 15 cars to choose from, including the AM General Hummer, Dodge Ram V12, Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, and more. There will be 11 locations to drive on, including swamplands, mountains, city streets, and the countryside.

The game will also be supported by a soundtrack featuring such popular artists as Eve 6, Leech, Incubus, and Blink 182.
