Telltale says Star Wars would be a "great fit"
Company cofounder says Star Wars would be a "great fit and very cool" for future game.
The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us developer Telltale Games has teased that Star Wars would be a "great fit" for a new episodic game from the company.
"Coming from LucasArts we have so many people here that love Star Wars and have worked with the license so that would be a great fit and very cool," cofounder Dan Connors said during a recent Reddit AMA (via Polygon).
Connors also teased that Telltale is working with a number of "dream" licenses for future games.
"In addition, we will be working on a few licenses that definitely fall into our dream IP scenario and we can't wait to announce those," Connors said.
Connors did not provide any further details about these projects. Other company founder Kevin Bruner echoed Connors' comments.
"I'll also say a Telltale Star Wars game would make me VERY happy! We've got some IP coming up that pretty much checks all of my personal favorites, which absolutely amazes/honors me," he said.
Telltale has created episodic games based on a number of high-profile franchises. In addition to The Walking Dead and Fables, the studio has worked on IP like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Wallace and Gromit, and Law & Order.
