Take 2 Interactive Update

Three multiplatform games are in the works at Take 2 Interactive.

Take 2 Interactive informed GameSpot News of plans to release three new games over the next year. They are:

DarkstoneThis Diablo-style game for the PlayStation and PC (PC shots shown) is due spring of '99. The game promises simultaneous control of two characters, over 30 levels for each quest, a quest generator that make a new quest at the start of each game, camera control, and network and Internet play for the PC side.

Spec OpsThis PlayStation version of Spec Ops will be a port of the original, though it's said to utilize some of the code from the upcoming PC sequel. Take 2 says it should hit around next July.

Grand Theft Auto 2Details are lean on the sequel to DMA Design's carjacking PC/PlayStation game, but we've heard the creators are focusing on radically improving the graphics this time out. GTA 2 is scheduled for the fourth quarter of '99.
