Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Profile Preview - Aeon Faction

Supreme Commander, released earlier this year, was the successor to the classic strategy game Total Annihilation. The new game pitted three futuristic factions against each other in an epic war across land, sea, and air--and the war is about to get bigger with the Forged Alliance expansion pack, which will add a new playable faction, as well as new units and structures for the existing three factions. Aeon Land Units

Blaze (assault tank)
This fast, lightly armored tank is fitted with dual rapid-fire autoguns.

Sprite Stalker (sniper bot)
This fast-moving sniper bot is designed to strike high-value targets from a distance.

Aeon Air Units

Swift Wind (combat fighter)
This midlevel air fighter has excellent antiair capabilities, and is effective against enemy gunships and bombers.

Aeon Naval Units

Restorer (antiair gunship)
This heavily armored gunship is equipped with quad-light laser and zealot missiles.

Solace (torpedo bomber)
This torpedo bomber is designed to engage high-level naval units.

Vesper (submarine hunter)
This submerged antinaval unit is effective against both surface vessels and submerged units.

Torrent Class (missile ship)
This high-end missile ship is armed with two racks of highly accurate serpentine tactical missiles.

Aeon Defensive Units

Salvation (rapid-fire artillery)
This is a rapid-fire artillery system that provides indirect fire support, and inflicts light damage across a large area.

Aeon Strategic Units

Paragon (quantum resource generator)
This generator creates nearly limitless energy and mass, and toggles resource generation to match production demands--but if destroyed, it goes up with an explosion as powerful as the detonation of a strategic weapon.

Eye of Rhianne (quantum optics facility)
This structure offers line-of-sight view to a fixed location on the battlefield.
