Sudden Strike Gold

Strategy First's World War II strategy game will arrive in stores by the end of the month.

Strategy First has announced that the US version of Sudden Strike has gone gold and is scheduled to arrive in stores this month. The World War II real-time strategy game was created by German developer CDV Software. It features several types of historical units from the Russian, German, French, British, and American armies, and the maps can support up to 1000 units at a time. The US version of Sudden Strike will include five new missions, and the multiplayer mode will be supported by GameSpy Arcade. Sudden Strike is scheduled for release on January 24 for a suggested retail price of US$39.95.
