Struggling With Halo 5's Hydra Weapon? Try This Strategy

New for the second week of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is a rocket-type weapon called Hydra MLRS, available on the Regret map. It's a powerful weapon, capable of killing enemies quickly and from great distances. But only if you know how to use it.

Thankfully, Xbox One user Deez has posted some game clips demonstrate one really smart way to fire the Hyrdra weapon and increase the likelihood of scoring a kill. The trick, as you can see in these videos or the GIF below, is that you need to aim high and let the missiles come screaming down.

Deez uses this tactic and has great success killing enemies--even those not in his direct line of sight--from across the map.

The Halo 5 multiplayer beta began last week and runs through January 18, 2015. Beginning later today, January 6, players will get to vote on a new map for week three of the beta. Your choices are Orion or Pegasus--more details about each map, made using the Forge editor tool, will be published soon.

The only way to get into the Halo 5 beta is to buy a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection or be a member of the Xbox One Preview Program, which is available by invitation only.
