Star Wars 8 Set Welcomes British Royalty for a Tour, See the Pictures Here

Harry and William visited Pinewood Studios to recognize the "wealth of British creative talent" involved in the production of the Star Wars movies.

British royalty including princes Harry and William dropped in at England's famed Pinewood Studios today to get peek behind the scenes of Star Wars: Episode VIII. Rey actress Daisy Ridley led the tour, showing the brothers things like her molded head cast and other items from the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster, according to Today.

Harry and William even picked up lightsaber props and faked a fight, and Harry embraced Chewbacca while William got up close with BB-8. The royalty also met with actors Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and John Boyega (Finn), as well as Episode VIII director Rian Johnson. Harry even sat in a ship and received some piloting advice from Hamill.

This was William's first official outing since his return from a weeklong tour of India and Bhutan. William and Harry visited Pinewood in part to recognize the "wealth of British creative talent" involved in the production of the Star Wars movies.

Episode Viii hits theaters on December 15, 2017. Just recently, Poe Dameron actor Oscar Isaac talked about how the film will, in some ways, feel like an independent movie.
