Square Enix's New Batman Figure Looks Good in Black and White
Batman v Superman's version of the character gets the Play Arts Kai treatment.
Square Enix has revealed this year's San Diego Comic-Con-exclusive figure, and it's a grayscale version of Batman as he appears in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The new Play Arts Kai figure measures in at 10 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. It comes with a variety of gadgets and several hand options, as pictured in the gallery below. The figure also features flexible materials and rolling joints in the upper arms and thighs.
Like last year's SDCC exclusive, you do have an alternative way of purchasing it to doing so at the event. Preorders are live now on Square Enix's online store for $150, but they won't begin shipping until this August. If you place an order online, you won't have the option of picking it up at SDCC; you'll have to wait for it to ship.
That still might be the ideal option if you want to guarantee yourself one, as only 1,000 have been produced, according to the listing. It also notes the black-and-white color scheme is a "long-requested paint variant from fans of the Play Arts Kai line."
