Squad Assault: West Front ships

Matrix Games announced that Eric Young's Squad Assault: West Front has shipped to stores across North America and should be available for purchase within the next few days. Squad Assault, which has developed by Freedom Games, is a turn-based World War II strategy game in which players can assume command of both the Allied and German armies that fought in France back in 1944.

"It's always exciting to ship a new game out to wargamers around the world and particularly so in this case," said David Heath, director of operations at Matrix Games. "We're confident that Squad Assault: West Front will raise the bar for 3D tactical wargames and exceed the expectations and anticipation that have preceded its release."
