During today's Nintendo Switch Presentation, Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami took to the stage in a lab coat and holding some unfamiliar ink-weapons to announce the full sequel to Splatoon.

"A new variety of squid was discovered recently, I'm here to announce the fruits of my labor," Nogami said on stage at the event. He went on to tease "many changes to the squid world."

"Battle stages have changed, fashions and weapons have changed and evolved." Evidently he was holding a new weapon, "Splatdualies," dual-wielded SMG-style ink weapons.
