Sand is going to get everywhere when Spec Ops: The Line hits the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this month. 2K's new third-person shooter takes place in Dubai, where you play the role of Captain Martin Walker, voiced by none other than Nolan North. We were sent copies of the game to check out ahead of the launch, so we got suited up and captured some footage.

Spec Ops: The Line's introduction is pretty explosive, as you're thrown straight into a helicopter dogfight.

This is the first of many ambushes that Walker and his team find themselves in during the course of the game.

The team frequently finds itself fighting against large numbers of enemies. The clip below is an example of the action sequences that take place in the single-player campaign.

Walker is one tough bastard--falling from skyscrapers doesn't seem to pose too much of a problem. After falling, Walker then has to fend off attackers on his own, while his team race to save him.

Spec Ops: The Line will be released June 29 in the UK and June 26 in the US for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. If you're eager to see more of the game, check out our episode of Now Playing where Guy and Mark blast their way through an abandoned building.
