Spec Ops: The Line dev working on free-to-play game
Job listings at Yager suggest developer currently at work on "AAA F2P" project.
The next project from Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager will be a "AAA F2P" game, according to job listings found on the studio's website by Videogamer.
This project is believed to be the Unreal Engine 4-powered next-generation game that the studio announced in March.
A job listing for a senior multiplayer level designer specifically describes the unannounced game as a "AAA F2P" title, while another suggests the game will be military-themed.
Yager job listings from March suggested this project would feature microtransactions and cross-platform play, though the developer has not confirmed anything about this so far.
Spec Ops: The Line, a third-person shooter published by Grand Theft Auto parent company Take-Two Interactive, launched in June 2012. For more on that game, check out GameSpot's review.
