Sony Comments on GT2 Delay

TOKYO - Sony Computer Entertainment has officially gone on record saying that Gran Turismo has been delayed. According to the company, reasons for the delay include increasing the number of foreign cars in the game because of European and American demand, and taking more time to debug and adjust the cars' parameters.

Currently, SCE is claiming the game will release this autumn in Japan.

Gran Turismo 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed racing simulator Gran Turismo, which sold more than two million copies in Japan and six million copies worldwide.
