Since posting this story, GameSpot UK has discovered that the apparent graffiti message was actually a hoax staged by Sega of Europe.

Just how hard-core of a Sega gamer are you? One European Sega fan apparently has taken his love for his favorite game maker to a new level - he vandalized the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe offices to support the launch of the Dreamcast. (Sega's Dreamcast console launches in Europe tomorrow, October 14).

The inspiration for his graffiti message comes from the UK Dreamcast advertisements that claim the PlayStation has expired. "PlayStation - Best Before 14/10/99" read the large banners in London.
