THQ and the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society are readying BASS Masters Classic: Tournament Edition, which they're calling, "the first 3D PC fishing game."

That 3D fishing game will make its debut at this weekend's BASS Master Classic Tournament, running August 6 through 8 in Greensboro, N.C. And wouldn't you know it - Bass Masters Classic: Tournament Edition is the official game of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society.

THQ and B.A.S.S. will be selling a "limited number" of the games at this weekend's tournament. The title is scheduled to ship to retail on Sept. 8.

The game features 3D representations of competition lakes including Lake Fork, Lake Mead, Lake Minnetonka, and Lake Logan-Martin, as well as tips on casting and lure selection from well-known bass-fishers Roland Martin, Shaw Grigsby, Ken Cook, and Paul Elias.
