Smite PS4/Xbox One Patch Adds New Pokemon Trainer Skin
Check out the full 3.18 patch notes.
Following its recent release on PC, the 3.18 update has arrived for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Smite.
This one doesn't have any major new features in terms of characters or game modes. Instead, the highlight is the new selection of skins. There's an awesome steampunk-style one for Ao Kuang and a Fire Lord version of Ne Zha.

Most amusing is one called Monster Trainer for Erlang Shen. It's an obvious Pokemon trainer-style look, which is what Hi-Rez Studios was obviously going for. When it was revealed last month during a livestream, a dev joked, "This was a completely unique IP construct that we came up with." Another added, "So original."
The skin comes with new ability effects and a voice pack, which has the character talking about going on an adventure. A major part of it involves making puns, like saying "koala-fications" instead of qualifications. You can see some of them in the video above.
Patch 3.18 also adds some new achievements/trophies and makes a bunch of balance changes, both to items and characters. Some of the most significant affect Cupid and Terra, while Inazuma gets another buff. You can read more about all of that in our previous coverage or check out the full patch notes here.
