Strategy specialist Slitherine Software is at it again. The UK-based company today revealed information on two new games in development at its headquarters in Surrey, England. Both will be available for the PC, but no release dates have yet been announced.

Arena: Warriors is a hybrid of the real-time strategy and role-playing genres, and it takes place in a "traditional fantasy" setting. Not much of the plot was revealed, except that players will take command of an army tasked with stopping an evil that is threatening the world. Armies' training, equipment, and appearances can be customized by the player, and both sides of the battle between good and evil are playable.

The second title is Commander - Europe at War, a World War II turn-based strategy game. The game is being codeveloped by Firepower Entertainment, and like in Arena: Warriors, gamers can play both sides of the war. Commander features six scenarios, 50 inventions from five technology branches, and 12 different unit classes.

Slitherine promises more information on both games soon, as well as an update on other projects.
