Singapore 3DS launch slated for March 28

Shipment to arrive 24 hours after US launch timing; official price S$399 ($315).

Update:The 3DS that will be selling in Singapore is the U.S set.

The 3DS may already be out in Japan, but gamers in Asia are still in the dark about when the handheld will be arriving in the region. Until now, that is, with a recent press release from Singaporean distributors MaxSoft confirming that the handheld will be available at all retailers in Singapore on March 28.

Gamers can attend a midnight launch of the device on March 27 at the Challenger store in Funan Digital Life Mall in Singapore. Update: The first 200 customers will get to purchase a copy of either Nintendogs + Cats or Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition for S$39.90 ($31.56).

The unit will cost S$399 and will come with a Hori screen protector. The bundle will contain the console, a charging cradle and AC adapter, AR cards, a 2GB SD memory card, and a stylus. Gamers will get a choice between a Cosmo Black 3DS or Aqua Blue 3DS. The games that will be available in Singapore at launch are Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort, all three versions of Nintendogs + Cats, Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, Rayman 3D, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Asphalt 3D: Nitro Racing, Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D, The Sims 3, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Samurai Warriors Chronicles, and Madden NFL Football.
