Silent Threat On Shelves

Descent: Freespace - Silent Threat, the expansion disk for Descent: Freespace - The Great War, has made its way to retail store shelves, announced Interplay, the game's publisher. The disc was developed by the original Freespace developer, Volition Inc. Winning missions designed by Freespace fans and entered in Interplay's mission design contest, are included on the disk.

The disk features more than 40 new missions - 15 of them were developed by Volition while the rest were contributed by fans of the game. The expansion also features two new ships and two new primary and secondary weapons.
